An incredible day of whale watching on Monterey Bay! We encountered 200+ long-beaked common dolphins, followed by the CA51A orcas Andi and Astrid with Jimmy near the Moss Landing harbor entrance. Numerous humpback whales were actively feeding throughout the area, including a group of 12 accompanied by a huge raft of sea lions that stampeded past the boat.
