Thursday July 9th 2026

Both trips featured excellent humpback whale sightings, with three whales on the morning tour and five throughout the afternoon. The morning also included an incredible encounter with more than 300 long-beaked common dolphins, while the afternoon showcased two pairs of humpbacks actively feeding alongside a large raft of sea lions.

Wednesday July 8th 2026

Wednesday’s  trips enjoyed excellent views of six humpback whales that have been spending time in the area, traveling in small groups and as singles. Guests also watched playful sea lions and leaping through the water, making for another beautiful day of wildlife viewing on Monterey Bay.

Both trips delivered outstanding wildlife encounters on Monterey Bay. Monday July 6th 2026

Today’s trip followed three humpback whales as they fed among dense schools of anchovies. Plunge-diving pelicans added to the spectacle, creating an exciting display of Monterey Bay’s rich marine ecosystem.

Sunday July 5th 2026

The morning trip encountered 15 humpback whales gathered in several feeding groups, creating an incredible display of activity. Guests enjoyed repeated lunge-feeding and surface gulping as the whales fed throughout the area, making for another memorable day on Monterey Bay.

Saturday July 4th 2026

The morning trip followed two humpback cow-calf pairs while numerous other humpbacks were scattered throughout the area. Guests were treated to a spectacular full-body breach from one of the mothers just off the boat, all under calm seas that made for outstanding viewing conditions.

Friday July 3rd 2026

The morning trip delivered one of the most unforgettable sightings of the season as guests encountered the CA50B, CA51A, and CA220 killer whale pods. Thursday July 2nd 2026

The morning trip encountered 15–18 humpback whales scattered throughout the bay in pairs and trios. Guests were treated to an exciting breach and several tail throws, while black-footed albatrosses, pink-footed shearwaters, and sooty shearwaters added to another beautiful day on Monterey Bay.

Wednesday July 1st 2026

Both trips found scattered humpback whales actively feeding, with spectacular vertical lunge-feeding, frequent surface activity, and several impressive breaches. Feeding sea lion rafts, large flocks of pink-footed and sooty shearwaters, black-footed albatrosses, and ashy storm-petrels highlighted the day, while the morning trip also enjoyed a trio of Pacific white-sided dolphins bow riding alongside the boat.

Tuesday June 30th 2026

Today’s trips featured incredible humpback whale activity, with widespread surface feeding including dramatic lunge-feeding displays. Guests enjoyed several close encounters, including a whale passing beneath the bow and an energetic calf playing alongside its mother. Feeding sea lions, pink-footed and sooty shearwaters, and friendly albatrosses rounded out another unforgettable day on Monterey Bay.

What an unforgettable day on Monterey Bay! Guests were treated to an incredible encounter with the CA51A pod of killer whales, highlighted by an energetic calf that delighted everyone with repeated breaches.

Sunday’s trip featured humpback whales scattered throughout the bay, giving guests plenty to enjoy from start to finish. Highlights included an incredible close-up lunge-feeding display and a spectacular distant triple breach. Along the way, a small pod of Pacific white-sided dolphins made an appearance.
