THURSDAY JULY 2ND 2026

The morning trip encountered 15–18 humpback whales scattered throughout the bay in pairs and trios. Guests were treated to an exciting breach and several tail throws, while black-footed albatrosses, pink-footed shearwaters, and sooty shearwaters added to another beautiful day on Monterey Bay.Humpback whale tails visible above ocean water surface.
