WednesdayWhale surfacing in ocean water with a visible eye and barnacles.‘s trips delivered another fantastic day on Monterey Bay! Guests enjoyed incredible encounters with numerous scattered humpback whales throughout the day, providing outstanding looks across all three excursions. The afternoon trips featured especially memorable interactions, including three curious “friendly” humpbacks that approached the boat for unforgettable close-up views, complete with powerful whale blows.

The 3:30 PM trip also encountered two humpback cow-and-calf pairs, highlighted by one energetic calf performing more than 20 partial breaches to the delight of everyone on board. Adding to the excitement were soaring albatrosses, abundant playful California sea lions launching themselves from the water, and beautiful conditions that made for another unforgettable day on the bay.
