FRIDAY JULY 10TH 2026

a whale jumping out of the water

trips featured an amazing day on Monterey Bay with 7 humpback whales and 1,000+ long-beaked common dolphins. The morning brought several exciting humpback breaches, while the afternoon featured tail throws from each of the three whales we encountered. We also spotted a small ocean sunfish (Mola mola) near the surface, adding another special sighting to an already fantastic day on the bay.
