The morning trip started with a large, spread-out pod of 100+ common dolphins on the way toward Moss Landing. We then followed two humpback mom-and-calf pairs that eventually came together as a trio, with more humpbacks scattered throughout the area. The highlight was watching one mom-and-calf pair pass directly in front of the bow for an unforgettable close encounter.
