OCTOBER 4TH 2026

An incredible day of Monterey Bay whale watching brought exciting sightings of humpback whales and a pod of four killer whales—the CA39As!

Our Monterey whale watching guests enjoyed fantastic looks at the CA39A killer whale pod, including the large adult male CA39A2, affectionately known as “Monet” or “Shrek.” Seeing killer whales in Monterey Bay is always an unforgettable experience, and encountering the CA39As alongside humpback whales made for an exceptional day on the water.
